Big victory over Honved
Rabotnicki will travel with a one goal advantage to Hungary for the second leg of the Europa League qualification, after winning 2-1 the first match against Honved. Our team played a good match, deservedly won over the Hungarian opponents, proving that coach Jovanovski and his players will do whatever it takes to go in the second qualifying round.
Ostoja Stjepanovic had the first dangerous shot in the game, but his free kick finished just wide of the guest’s goal. Danilo and Vadoch tried their luck at the other side, but Bozinovski saved their shots. Rabotnicki took the lead in the 33. minute, Petar Petkovski received a great ball, went all alone against the goalkeeper and placed it in the net. The guests equalized in the dying seconds of the second half, when Nagjy placed a great shot from 30 meters in the top corner.
Rabotnicki wanted the victory in this match more than the guest team, and the boys in red took the lead once more, this time Sharkoski was the scorer after a cross from Stevanovic. The hosts had a good chance for a third goal, but the guest’s goalkeeper went out to save the ball just before Filip Petkovski got to it.
