Defeat in the derby against the champions

Rabotnicki suffered another defeat in the First league, this time in the derby match against Skendija, losing 1-2 at home. Our team played equal to the reigning champions for the bigger part of this match, but couldn’t find a way to win at least one point.

Skendija took the lead in the 20. minute, Mici crossed from the left side, with Emini rising and heading the ball past Bozinovski. Rabotnicki equalized eight minutes later, Peev scoring after a corner from Petar Petkovski.

Skendija began the second half much better, scoring a lucky second goal when Mitrev placed the ball in our goal after a cross from Mici. Rabotnicki tried to score a second goal, but Zahov saved Petkovski’s shot, while Peev’s try went just wide.
