Last gasp defeat in the derby against Vardar (2-1)
Despite the great first half, Rabotnicki lost the derby match against Vardar, with a goal in the third minute of injury time. Literally in the last attack of the match, out team couldn’t clear the danger in the box, allowing Goran Popov to take advantage and score the winning goal for Vardar. To add to the disappointment, Vardar was playing with one player less on the field, following the deserved red card for Cesar Romero.
The match began great for Rabotnicki, with Ilijoski scoring the first goal following some great team-work. Rabotnicki was better in the first half, but at the beginning of the second part of the match Vardar equalized with Ivanovski finding the net of our goal.
In the dying seconds of the match, with everyone expecting the final whistle, Vardar managed to squeeze in another goal, getting the derby win.
