Ristevski: Rest is certainly needed

Kire Ristevski will not be part of the Macedonian national team in these preparation, so the defender will be able to concentrate on the preparations for the next challenges before our club. The main goal in the next month will be to stay on the third position at the table, as well as progressing into the semifinal of the national cup.

“We are very happy that we will finally have few days to rest. We had a very demanding few months and rest is certainly needed, we maintained our composure despite the injury problems and got to the third place on the table. We should use the following period to freshen up and get ready for what’s expecting us in the next 30 days… to try and cut Vardar’s lead, but also play good against Sileks in the Cup, where we are expecting to progress into the semifinal” – says Ristevski.

Rabotnicki drew 0-0 in the last league match against Sileks, that was played yesterday in Kratovo.

“It was a closed match, neither of the teams wanted to risk. Sileks was playing with more players in the defensive line, and it is always harder to break that kind of defense. We couldn’t score, but on the other hand, our defense is much better as we haven’t conceded a goal in the last three matches” – comments Kire Ristevski.
