Franc begins with victory as Rabotnicki downs Mladost

Rabotnicki began the second part of the season with 2-1 victory over Mladost Carev Dvor, giving the new head coach Tomislav Franc a perfect debut on the bench of our team. Rabotnicki’s victory was trully deserved, as the host players dominated for the biggest part of the game, showing the right spirit and attitude on the way to the three points.

The first chance of the match was for Rabotnicki in the 19. minute, but Altiparmakovski couldn’t score from good position. However, four minutes later our team took the lead when Altiparmakovski scored from the penalty spot, after Suad Sahiti was fouled in the box by Konate. Goran Siljanovski played very well in the first half, providing great crosses for Altiparmakovski and Petrovic, but these two players couldn’t double the lead. The second goal was scored after just five minutes of play in the second half as Herera found the way to the net.

Captain Milan Ilievski sustained an injury in the second half, so coach Franc had to change in the defensive line. The visitors took advantage of that and and scored through Shakiri, who was at the right place at the rignt time after a corner from Hani. With seven minutes left to play, Mladost was left with 10 players on the field as Grozdanovski got a red card for a brutal challenge on Altiparmakovski. Rabotnicki had two more chances, but our team couldn’t score a third goal, with the result staying 2-1 until the final wistle.
