Skendija with a two goal advantage after the first leg
Rabotnicki suffered a 0-2 loss against Skendija in the first leg of the 1/8 final of the Macedonian Cup. With this result, our chances for a place in the quarterfinals are just theoretical, a real pity if we know the fact that Rabotnicki played an equal game until the last 20 minutes, in which the guests scored both their goals.
Emir Sahiti had two good chances to score the first goal in this match, but Zahov made a good save in the 6. minute, while two minutes later our attacker’s shot went wide.
Filip Ivanovski had a good header saved after a corner, while Suad Sahiti and Siljanovski also had chances in the first half. Skendija’s best chance came at the end of the half, when Totre’s shot hit the post.
The guests were much better in the second half, creating more chances and getting two goals. Alimi scored a beautiful goal in the 74. minute, while the substitute Marjan Radeski scored the second goal for the guests from Tetovo.
