Unexpected loss from Pobeda

Rabotnicki suffered the fourth defeat of the season, certainly the most unexpected after losing 2-1 in Bitola against Pobeda.

The hosts took the lead after 15 minutes, when Naumoski took advantage of the bad positioning of our defenders, quickly took a free kick and passed the ball to Sharkoski, who opened the score. Rabotnicki tried to come back, Ivanovski and Suad Sahiti had good chances, Elmas shot also didn’t hit the target, so Pobeda finished the first half with a 1-0 lead.

The guests had a great for 1-1, but Trajcevski’s shot finished in the post instead of the net. Just e few minutes later Markoski had a sitter after a great pass from Elmas, but Mancevski saved his shot. Pobeda got a penalty in the 68 minute after a challenge from Sadiki on Karcevski, and Gesovski scored from the spot. Rabotnicki went all out in attack trying to get back, but only managed to score one goal (Najdenov in 85. minute), not enough to prevent another defeat in the First league, third in a row for our boys.

After eight rounds in the First league Rabotnicki is placed on the fourth position with 12 points.
