What a game: Great victory over champions Vardar

Rabotnicki finally managed to put an end to the series of bad results, scoring three goals in a high stile 3-0 victory over the reigning champions Vardar. After the losses in which luck was not on our side, this time our boys played a great match, winning with a three goal margin over the team against a team that was unbeaten prior to this round.

Both team played very carefully in the opening 30 minutes, with Rabotnicki scoring the first goal. It was the 33. minute when Vardar’s goalkeeper Gacevski made a big howler, with Suad Sahiti being in the right place at the right time, putting the ball in the net from one meter. Dejan Blazevski tried to equalize five minutes later, bur Bozinovski saved his shot. Rabotnicki played very clever in the defense in the second half, but our team was very lucky when Asani missed a sitter from three metres in the 69. minute.

The last five minutes brought two more goals for Rabotnicki. Duranski scored the second goal of the match after Gacevski saved the previous shot, while in the added time we got a deserved penalty when Vardar’s goalkeeper fouled Markoski in the box. Filip Ivanovski took the ball and scored against his old club for a wee deserved 3-0 victory with which our team stays on the fourth position on the table.
