Loss in a good game against Vardar

Rabotnicki lost the city derby against Vardar 2-0, after not taking advantage of our chances throughout the 90 minutes. Vardar’s goalkeeper Gacevski had a great match against our team, while Kojasevic and Nikolov scored the goal at the other end of the field.

Vardar had the first dangerous shot, when Siskovski saved the nice try from Gligorov. Elmas fought back with good shot at the other end, starting Rabotnicki’s domination when Siljanovski and Sahiti had nice chances, but Gacevski saved both their shots. In the period when we were playing better football than the opponents, Vardar still managed to open the score. Barsegjan and Demiri built a nice play from the left side, Kojasevic received the ball in the box and placed it in the net.

We were dictating the tempo also in the second half, with Vukovic missing great chance after a pass from Elmas, and Rasho shooting wide from great position at the end of the match. Vardar punished us for these misses, scoring a second goal by Nikolov after a great run and assist from Boareto.
