Siljanovski rescues a draw against the champions
Rabotnicki drew 2-2 in the derby match against Vardar in the 33. round of the First League. With this draw, Rabotnicki is on the third place of the table with 53 points, two more than Pelister.
This local derby provided good football for the fans, many chances at both sides of the field and four goals. Vardar had the first shot when Nikolov tried his luck in the 2. minute, but Siskovski was there to make a save. Duranski had nice shot towards Vardar’s goal after 12 minutes of play, but Aleksovski didn’t allow any suprises.
The champions took the lead at the 36. minute when Dzigauri finished the nice action with a great shot that went past Siskovski. Rabotnicki had good chance do equalize at the end of the first half, but Vukovic’s shot hit only the post. The well deserved goal came in at the 54. minute, when Sadiki beat Aleksovski with a good header after Herera’s corner.
Barsegjan gave Vardar another lead, but our boys showed great character and managed to get a point after Siljanovski scored the equalizer in the 88. minute, after a great run and assist from Herera.
