Milan Ilievski: We respect FC Shkupi, but FC Rabotnicki also has big ambitions in the new season

FC Rabotnicki opens the new season in the Macedonian First League tomorrow (17:00 CET) at the “Boris Trajkovski” stadium. The opponent is FC Shkupi, which is already in competitive rhythm due to performances in the UEFA Conference League.

Coach Milan Ilievski says that the team is ready for the start of the championship and expects a difficult match against FC Shkupi.

„We have maximum respect for FC Shkupi, they are in a competitive rhythm, and we are yet to catch up. I think we did excellent preparations, we played against strong teams and it should have been a real prelude to the championship challenges that await us. I believe that we will perform well and I expect a difficult match. When the championship starts, then of course the points are the most important, and we will do everything to reach a positive result at the start”, says Milan Ilievski.

The match between FC Rabotnicki and FC Shkupi is scheduled for tomorrow, starting at 17:00 CET at the “Boris Trajkovski” stadium, and the referee will be Aleksandar Stavrev from Skopje.
