Triumph against FC Shkupi (3-1) for a good start of the season

FC Rabotnicki defeated FC Shkupi 3-1 in the first match of the new season in the Macedonian First League. Milan Ilievski’s team couldn’t have wished for a better start. The team triumphed over one of the contenders for the highest ranking.

Our team took the lead already in the first minute. The speedy Mazari was even faster than referee Alexander Stavrev’s first whistle. After Gando Biala’s action and Vlatko Stojanovski’s cross, Mazari placed the ball behind Iljazi’s back with a header.

The opponent equalized in the 62nd minute. After the corner from the right side, the ball was transferred to the second post, where Darko Ilieski headed into the goal.

But FC Rabotnicki wanted a triumph. Coach Milan Ilievski introduced the young forward Georg Stojanovski into the game, who decided the match with two moves.

In the 81st minute, he forced a penalty after the FC Shkupi defenders started over him, and Mevljan Murati converted the penalty into a goal.

In the extra time, Georg Stojanovski himself was among the scorers, shaking the FC Shkupi net in the 96th minute of the match.

The next opponent of FC Rabotnicki is Sileks in Kratovo next Sunday.
